Description

These Brown Butter Cadbury Mini Egg Cookies are a delightful treat, featuring the rich flavor of brown butter and chunks of Cadbury eggs. Perfect for satisfying your sweet cravings with simple preparation and tasty ingredients!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 1 & 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips
  • 3/4 cup chopped cadbury mini eggs

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 325F and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. Melt the butter in a medium saucepan over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until it turns golden brown and emits a nutty aroma. Remove from heat and let cool to room temperature.
  3. Whisk together the brown butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until combined. Add the egg and vanilla extract, whisking until smooth.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Mix the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until just combined.
  5. Fold in the mini chocolate chips and chopped Cadbury mini eggs.
  6. Using a large cookie scoop or spoon, drop rounded balls of dough onto the prepared baking sheets.
  7. Bake for 13 minutes, until the edges are set but the centers remain slightly soft.
  8. Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheets for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

For best results, use room temperature ingredients when baking.
These cookies can be stored in an airtight container for up to a week.
