Description

  • 1 medium head green cabbage (~2 pounds), cored and chopped into 1½-inch pieces
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 teaspoons smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon fine sea salt
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon freshly cracked black pepper
  • optional toppings: fresh lemon juice, grated parmesan

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Place the cabbage pieces on a baking sheet. Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and smoked paprika, tossing until well-coated. Spread out in a single layer.
  3. Roast in the oven for 20-25 minutes, tossing once around the 15-minute mark, until tender and golden brown at the edges.
  4. To achieve a crispy finish, broil for an additional 1-2 minutes, keeping a close watch.
  5. Take out from the oven and add any desired toppings. Adjust seasoning if necessary. Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

For a zesty twist, drizzle with fresh lemon juice just before serving.
