Description

Crockpot Bacon Cheeseburger Tortellini is a delightful dish combining savory ground beef, crispy bacon, and creamy cheese tortellini. This recipe takes minimal prep time and delivers maximum flavor, making it a perfect choice for a quick dinner or comfort food craving.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound ground beef browned and drained
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • ½ cup diced onion
  • 12 slices bacon cooked and crumbled, divided
  • 1 14.5-ounce can diced tomatoes, drained
  • 1 1/2 cups beef broth
  • 1 cup tomato sauce
  • 1 tablespoon yellow mustard
  • 20 ounces refrigerated cheese tortellini
  • 1½ cups shredded cheddar cheese

Instructions

  1. Place the ground beef, diced onion, salt, pepper, garlic powder, paprika, half of the crumbled bacon, and the drained diced tomatoes in the slow cooker.
  2. Add the beef broth, tomato sauce, and mustard, stirring everything together until well mixed.
  3. Cover the slow cooker and let it cook on low for about 3 hours to enhance the flavors.
  4. Stir in the cheese tortellini, ensuring they are mostly covered in the sauce.
  5. Continue cooking for another 30–40 minutes until the tortellini are tender.
  6. Mix in the shredded cheddar cheese, stirring until it melts and creates a creamy sauce.
  7. Top with the remaining bacon and allow the dish to sit for about 5 minutes before serving, letting the sauce slightly thicken.

Notes

For added flavor, use thick-cut bacon and a quality ground beef.
You can substitute turkey or chicken for a lighter option.
This dish is great for leftovers and can be reheated easily.
