- 2 cups flour
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 3/4 cups butter, softened
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 3/4 cups brown sugar
- 1 egg
- 1/2 tbsp vanilla
- 1 cup mini-chocolate chips
- 1 cup easter m&m's
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375 degrees and line a cookie sheet with parchment paper.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt until combined.
- In a separate bowl, beat the softened butter, sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add the egg and vanilla to the butter mixture and beat until well combined.
- Gradually add the flour mixture and mix until everything is well incorporated.
- Gently fold in the mini chocolate chips and Easter M&M's.
- Scoop about 1 1/2 tablespoons of cookie dough onto the prepared baking sheet, leaving space between each scoop.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 8-10 minutes.
- After taking them out, press in extra mini chocolate chips and M&M's on top of the cookies.
Notes
Make sure your butter is softened for the best texture.
For chewier cookies, don’t overbake them. They should be slightly undercooked when you take them out.
Feel free to add nuts or substitute with regular-sized chocolate chips if desired.
