Description

Enjoy a cozy mug of Slow Cooker Baileys Irish Cream Hot Chocolate. This delightful drink combines rich chocolate, creamy Baileys, and simple prep for a perfect indulgence on chilly evenings.


Ingredients

  • 8 oz. ghiradelli semi-sweet chocolate baking squares
  • ½ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • ½ cup sugar
  • 1 tbsp. vanilla extract
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 6 cups whole milk
  • 1 cup baileys® irish cream
  • marshmallows or whipped cream

Instructions

  • Break up the chocolate squares and place them in the slow cooker.
  • Add the remaining ingredients, except for the Baileys, to the slow cooker.
  • Cover and cook on HIGH for 1.5 hours, stirring every 30 minutes.
  • Once the cocoa is hot, stir in the Baileys Irish Cream.
  • Set out mugs, whipped cream, and a bowl of marshmallows for self-serving.
  • Switch the slow cooker to warm so it stays hot for your guests, and stir often.

Notes

Feel free to adjust the sugar depending on your preference.
For added flavor, try experimenting with different types of chocolate.”
