Description

Air Fryer Apple Cider Donuts are a delightful treat featuring a soft, fluffy texture and a sweet cinnamon sugar coating. Made with simple ingredients like apple cider and flaky biscuits, these donuts are perfect for anyone seeking a quick, homemade dessert!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • 16.3 ounces flaky biscuits
  • 1 cup apple cider

Instructions

  1. Line a tray with parchment paper or set out a wire rack for the finished donuts.
  2. In a shallow bowl, whisk together the granulated sugar and ground cinnamon, then set aside.
  3. Simmer apple cider in a small saucepan over medium-high heat until it reduces slightly, then set aside.
  4. Separate the biscuits and use a small round object to punch out the centers, forming donut shapes.
  5. Line the air fryer basket with parchment or spray with oil.
  6. Cook the donuts in batches, adding four at a time in a single layer to the air fryer.
  7. Air fry at 350°F for 3 minutes, then flip and cook for another 3 minutes.
  8. Remove hot donuts and repeat with the remaining dough.
  9. Brush warm donuts with the reduced apple cider, then toss in cinnamon sugar until well-coated.
  10. Serve and enjoy while warm.

Notes

Make sure not to overcrowd the air fryer basket for even cooking.
These donuts are best enjoyed fresh out of the air fryer for maximum flavor!
You can store leftovers in an airtight container for a day or two.
