Description

This Avocado Dressing delivers irresistible flavors and is quick to prepare with fresh ingredients. Perfect for salads or as a dip, it brings a creamy texture to your meals!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 ripe avocado
  • 1/4 cup white wine vinegar
  • 1 lemon – juice only
  • 1 garlic clove
  • 3/4 cup avocado oil
  • 2 tbsp agave nectar
  • 2 tbsp cilantro (or basil, or parsley)
  • coarse kosher salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Ensure your blender or food processor has an opening for adding ingredients while blending.
  2. Halve the avocado, remove the pit, peel the skin, and place the avocado flesh into the blender.
  3. Add white wine vinegar, lemon juice, agave nectar, garlic, cilantro, and salt into the blender. Do not add the oil yet!
  4. Close the lid and blend while slowly drizzling in avocado oil until smooth. Continue to blend for a few seconds afterward.
  5. Taste the dressing and adjust salt as needed. For a thinner consistency, add more avocado oil and blend again.

Notes

Storage: Keep the dressing in an airtight container in the fridge for up to a week.
Adjust herbs: Feel free to substitute cilantro with basil or parsley based on your preference.
Consistency: Add more oil if you prefer a runnier dressing.
