Description

This Easy Asian Slaw is a delightful mix of fresh coleslaw and a tangy dressing. Ready in just 10 minutes, it’s perfect for a light meal or a vibrant side that’s full of flavor, featuring ingredients like rice vinegar and sesame oil.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 6 to 8 cups coleslaw mix
  • 2 green onions (thinly sliced)
  • sesame seeds (for garnish)
  • ¼ cup rice vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon toasted sesame oil
  • 2 teaspoons honey
  • 1 clove garlic (finely minced, optional)

Instructions

  1. Whisk together rice vinegar, vegetable oil, soy sauce, toasted sesame oil, honey, and garlic in a large bowl.
  2. Add the coleslaw mix, sliced green onions, and sesame seeds; toss everything to coat well.
  3. Refrigerate for 30 minutes if possible before serving for enhanced flavors.
  4. Garnish with additional sesame seeds and green onions before serving.

Notes

For a crunchier texture, serve immediately after mixing instead of refrigerating.
Feel free to add shredded carrots or bell peppers for extra color and flavor.
This slaw pairs beautifully with grilled proteins or as part of a rice bowl.
