Ingredients

- ¼ tsp oil (optional, for griddle pan)
- 30 g butter or dairy-free alternative
- seasoning (salt/pepper/herbs/chili flakes)
Instructions
- Prepare all butters and seasonings in advance.
- Prepare corn by peeling back the husk and removing internal silk and tassels, leaving the kernels exposed.
- Preheat barbecue, grill, or griddle pan to high heat.
- If using a griddle pan, lightly brush with oil; if using BBQ or grill, you may brush oil on corn if desired.
- Place the corn cobs on the grill or pan.
- Turn corn frequently until it’s a deeper yellow color with slight charring, checking that it doesn’t overcook. It should take about 8 to 10 minutes.
- Remove corn from heat and serve immediately with butter and seasoning.
Notes
For added flavor, experiment with different butters such as garlic or herb-infused.
Ensure corn is fresh for the best taste and texture.
Turn corn regularly to avoid burning and achieve even cooking.
