Description

Mint Oreo Ice Cream Dessert features a delightful combination of mint chip ice cream, crunchy Oreos, and rich hot fudge. This easy, no-bake dessert is perfect for gatherings and satisfying sweet cravings, making it a must-try for ice cream lovers.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 package (13.29 ounces) Oreo cookies (about 45 cookies)
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 3 quarts mint chip ice cream, softened
  • 1 jar (12 ounces) hot fudge topping, divided
  • 1 tub (8 ounces) whipped topping, thawed
  • 1/3 cup chopped Andes mints

Instructions

  1. Crush all of the Oreo cookies in a food processor.
  2. Reserve 2 tablespoons of the crumbs and set aside for later use.
  3. Add the melted butter to the remaining cookie crumbs and pulse to combine.
  4. Press the mixture into the bottom of a 9×13-inch pan to form a crust.
  5. Scoop half of the softened mint chip ice cream over the crust, smoothing it into an even layer.
  6. Spread most of the hot fudge topping over the ice cream, reserving a couple of tablespoons for garnish.
  7. Top with the remaining ice cream and smooth out the top layer.
  8. Cover the pan with foil and freeze for 6 hours or overnight.
  9. Spread the thawed whipped topping over the final layer of ice cream.
  10. Garnish with the reserved hot fudge, crushed Oreo crumbs, and chopped Andes mints.
  11. Serve immediately or return to the freezer until ready to enjoy.

Notes

Ensure the mint chip ice cream is softened for easier spreading.
Add more Andes mints for extra flair and flavor in the dessert.
This dessert can be kept in the freezer for several days without loss of quality.
