Description

This Orange Creamsicle Pie is a delightful treat featuring juicy mandarin oranges and smooth yogurt. With simple prep and a refreshing flavor, it’s perfect for gatherings or a sweet indulgence at home.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 graham cracker crust
  • 15 ounces mandarin oranges, drained and juice reserved
  • 3.4 ounces orange jello mix
  • 12 ounces orange creamsicle yogurt (2 containers)
  • 8 ounces whipped cream plus more for topping (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a large glass bowl, combine the orange gelatin with 1/4 cup of reserved mandarin orange juice and microwave on high for 1 minute. Refrigerate the mixture for 10-15 minutes until it thickens.
  2. Once chilled, whisk in the orange yogurt and Cool Whip. Carefully fold in 1/2 cup of chopped mandarin oranges.
  3. Pour the prepared pie filling into the graham cracker crust. Add dollops of whipped cream and garnish with whole mandarin oranges on top.
  4. Refrigerate for about 4 hours until set. For a frozen option, freeze the pie for 2 hours.

Notes

Ensure the gelatin mixture cools completely before adding other ingredients for better texture.
You can personalize your pie by adding lime or lemon zest for a citrus twist.
For a lighter option, use reduced-fat whipped cream.
