Description

This Peach Cobbler offers a delightful blend of sweet, juicy peaches and a buttery crust. It’s easy to prepare and perfect for any occasion, delivering comfort food at its finest!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 cups fresh peach slices peeled
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • pinch of salt
  • 6 tbsp unsalted butter melted
  • 1 cup all purpose flour
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 2 tsp cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Spray a 9×13 baking dish with nonstick spray and preheat the oven to 350°F.
  2. In a medium saucepan, mix the sliced peaches with granulated sugar, brown sugar, and a pinch of salt. Cook over medium heat for about 3–4 minutes until the sugar melts and the mixture is warm.
  3. Pour the melted butter into the bottom of the prepared baking dish.
  4. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, 1 cup of sugar, baking powder, salt, and milk until smooth. Pour this mixture into the baking dish over the butter without stirring.
  5. Gently spoon the peaches over the batter, spreading them evenly, including some juice. Top with brown sugar and cinnamon.
  6. Bake in the oven for 38–42 minutes until the top is golden and bubbly.
  7. Allow to cool slightly, then serve warm, ideally with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.

Notes

Serve with vanilla ice cream for an extra treat.
Ensure the peaches are ripe for the best flavor.
Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 3 days.
