- 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- ¾ cup old-fashioned oats
- ¾ cup all-purpose flour
- ½ cup packed light brown sugar
- ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
- ¼ teaspoon sea salt
- 6 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 2 tablespoons milk
- ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C) and line a 9-inch square baking pan with parchment paper, leaving overhang for easy removal.
- In a large bowl, mix the melted butter, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract until well combined.
- Stir in the flour and salt until a soft dough forms, then press the dough evenly into the bottom of the prepared pan.
- Bake for 15 minutes or until the edges start to turn lightly golden.
Notes
For a sweeter version, you can add a bit more sugar to the peach mixture.
Feel free to substitute with different fruits based on your preference, such as blueberries or raspberries.
