Description

Prosciutto Wrapped Fig brings together sweet figs and savory prosciutto for a delightful appetizer. This recipe is quick to prepare and ideal for impressing guests or enjoying with family.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 6 large figs, cut in half
  • 6 slices prosciutto, cut in half lengthwise
  • 4 tablespoons gorgonzola cheese
  • 4 tablespoons honey

Instructions

  1. Wash and dry the figs, then cut off the stems and slice them in half.
  2. Place the fig halves cut side up on a flat surface or cutting board. Add about 1/2 tablespoon of gorgonzola cheese to each fig half.
  3. Wrap each fig with a slice of prosciutto to cover the cheese completely.
  4. Arrange the prosciutto-wrapped figs on a serving platter and drizzle honey over each one before serving.

Notes

Choose ripe figs for the best flavor.
Feel free to substitute gorgonzola with goat cheese if preferred.
Honey adds a beautiful sweetness that complements the savory prosciutto.
