- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- 2 cups jasmine rice cooked
- 1 tablespoon olive oil or butter
- Zest of 1 lime
- 2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
- ¼ cup fresh cilantro chopped
- Salt to taste

Instructions
- Whisk together olive oil, lime juice, minced garlic, cumin, chili powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper in a bowl. Add the steak and marinate for at least 30 minutes, up to 8 hours for stronger flavor.
- Heat a cast-iron skillet or grill pan on high. Sear the steak for 3 to 4 minutes on each side until nicely charred and cooked to your liking. Rest for 5 minutes, then slice against the grain.
- Fluff the warm jasmine rice with olive oil, lime zest, lime juice, chopped cilantro, and salt. Adjust to taste if needed.
- In a small bowl, combine the ingredients for the yogurt drizzle and set aside.
- To serve, layer rice in bowls, top with sliced steak, and add your choice of toppings. Drizzle with lime juice and the creamy sauce.
