Description

This Strawberry Heaven Dessert combines layers of light angel food cake with creamy vanilla pudding and luscious strawberry pie filling. It’s an easy, no-bake dessert that’s perfect for gatherings or a sweet treat at home!


Ingredients

  • 1 (10 oz) angel food cake
  • 1 (3.4 oz) package instant vanilla pudding mix
  • 1 1/2 cups whole milk
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1 (21 oz) can strawberry pie filling
  • 1 (8 oz) container cool whip (thawed)
  • fresh strawberries, optional

Instructions

  1. Cut the angel food cake into cubes and set aside.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the instant vanilla pudding mix, whole milk, and heavy whipping cream. Beat on low speed, then gradually increase speed and mix for about 2 minutes until thickened.
  3. Layer half of the angel food cake cubes evenly on the bottom of a 9 x 13 pan.
  4. Dollop about 2/3 of the strawberry pie filling over the cake cubes.
  5. Spread the thickened vanilla pudding mixture evenly over the filling.
  6. Add the remaining strawberry pie filling on top of the pudding layer.
  7. Spread the thawed Cool Whip evenly over the top layer.
  8. Refrigerate for 3-4 hours before serving to chill.
  9. Optionally, garnish with fresh strawberries before serving.

Notes

Ensure the Cool Whip is fully thawed for easy spreading.
This dessert can be made a day in advance for best flavor.
Fresh strawberries can enhance the presentation and flavor.
